Being Ohio Recovery Housing certified means our program meets established standards of accountability, safety, and quality care, ensuring our residents have an environment that supports healing and growth.
About Us
Joshua Recovery Ministries is a non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to providing men, women, and children with a safe place to find healing and recovery. The ministry was founded in 2007, by a group of Christians that believe Christ is the center of all healing. All the founders came from Ginghamsburg United Methodist in Tipp City, Ohio. The ministry is independent of the church and is a 501C3 organization. Our statement of Faith is the Nicene Creed.
At the start of the ministry in 2008 was the founding of a house in Dayton, Ohio for those needing help recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Our recovery program is centered around a person making a commitment of faith in Jesus Christ and our faith based counseling. Since the founding of the first house, we felt God leading us to help more of the community with other counseling needs such as grief, depression, and those that are functioning in society with addiction that need the services of a professional counselor. Today, we have three men’s houses, one women’s house, and two maternity apartment buildings – all located in the Dayton, Ohio area. Our housing program and counseling center continues to grow in its service to the community.
